SONIC SPEED
SIMULATOR
As a Marketing Artist III at Gamefam, I played a pivotal role in bringing SEGA’s Sonic Speed Simulator to life on the Roblox platform. I collaborated closely with other artists and the development team to produce consistently high-quality icons that adhered to SEGA's strict brand guidelines. My responsibilities included concept development, creating mood boards, 3D modeling, rendering, and finalizing the designs.
Objective and Goals
The primary objective was to create visually appealing icons that resonate with the younger Roblox audience and enhance their engagement with the SEGA brand and the Sonic game. The icons needed to be energetic and vibrant to captivate the target demographic.
Process and Approach
I began by developing a number of concepts and mood boards that fit SEGA's vision. I additionally collaborated with an illustrator to bring the sketches they created to life. I created 3D compositions and renders of Sonic using Blender and Cinema4D, making sure to include lively features and dynamic stances. I used Photoshop to apply effects, do touch-ups, and make sure the designs adhered to SEGA's brand guidelines before finishing the final touches. Keeping SEGA's brand integrity while appealing to the Roblox audience was one of the major focuses.
Challenges and Solutions
One of the key challenges was balancing SEGA’s brand integrity with the playful and energetic aesthetic required to appeal to the younger Roblox audience. To address this, I carefully incorporated bright, saturated colors and dynamic effects that conveyed energy and speed, aligning with the expectations of younger users while maintaining SEGA’s core brand values.
This process involved continuous collaboration with SEGA’s team, iterating on the designs through multiple rounds of feedback to ensure the icons adhered to SEGA's brand identity and guidelines. By actively refining the designs based on their input, I was able to create icons that both captured the essence of SEGA’s established image and engaged the Roblox community effectively.
Results & Impact
The icon design succeeded tremendously, becoming one of the best-performing Sonic icons. It significantly boosted user engagement, contributing to the game gaining over 1.3 million new visitors. This design helped solidify the game's status, which has over 1 billion visits and 2 million favorites.

SUPER NFL TYCOON
Ihad the incredible opportunity to help bring the NFL's brand identity to the Roblox platform. Ahead of Super Bowl LVII, Gamefam collaborated with the NFL to launch Super NFL Tycoon. My role in this project was to create and produce marketing materials for use on both social media and the gaming platform.
The process involved multiple iterations and various materials, though only select key pieces can be shown due to brand guidelines and the confidentiality of unreleased content. My responsibilities spanned concept development, 3D rendering, and photo touchups to finalize the designs. This project resonated with me on a personal level because of my passion for sports, making the entire experience and creative process even more enjoyable and rewarding.

The main goal of this project was to seamlessly integrate the NFL’s brand into the engaging world of Roblox to captivate younger audiences ahead of Super Bowl LVII. This integration was part of the NFL’s broader effort to connect with younger consumers in spaces where they are most active. The aim was to create visually appealing and interactive marketing materials that conveyed the energy and excitement of professional football, all while adhering to brand guidelines. Our objective was to authentically bring the thrill of the NFL to the digital landscape and create an engaging experience that resonated with the target demographic.
Process and Approach
My approach began with extensive concept development to align the NFL’s iconic brand with the playful and interactive style of Roblox. Using Blender and Cinema4D, I created detailed 3D renders that showcased the excitement and energy of football, followed by post-processing and touchups in Photoshop to ensure every element was polished and visually impactful.
A significant part of the process involved numerous revisions, which included testing various elements such as which NFL teams to feature prominently on the cover and exploring different character styles to find the best fit for engaging the target audience. We iterated on color schemes, poses, and effects, ensuring that each design not only adhered to brand guidelines but also resonated with young players and conveyed the vibrant spirit of the game.
Challenges and Solutions
One of the significant challenges was balancing the NFL’s established brand identity with the playful and interactive nature of the Roblox platform. To address this, I experimented with various visual elements, including vibrant colors, dynamic compositions, and engaging effects that would capture the excitement of football while appealing to younger audiences. Another challenge was ensuring the project stood out from other football games on the platform. To create a sense of uniqueness, I focused on developing a distinct visual style and incorporating elements that emphasized the larger-than-life atmosphere of the NFL. This approach involved testing different character styles and cover designs to ensure that our game felt fresh, engaging, and differentiated.
Results & Impact
The launch of Super NFL Tycoon on Roblox was a significant success, attracting over 12.5 million visits and achieving a player rating of 92% Marketing Dive. The game effectively engaged a younger audience, aligning with the NFL's strategy to connect with Gen Z and Gen Alpha consumers. This initiative not only expanded the NFL's digital presence but also set a precedent for future collaborations between major sports leagues and gaming platforms. The project's effectiveness in connecting with the target audience and raising the NFL's brand awareness online was evidenced by the favorable response and high levels of interaction.
